This page contains instructions about how to register for IDT-09. A list of fees and charges is provided further down.IDT-09 Registration through the KES Portal
Registration for IDT-09 is through the KES Member Community Portal.All IDT-09 authors, and many others involved in the symposium, have been pre-installed on the Portal and will receive their login details by email.
If you have your Portal login details you can go to
IDT-09 Full Registration, or IDT-09 Student Registration
and complete the registration process.
If you do not have your Portal login details you can find out how to get them ..here..
When you have your login details, you can register for IDT-09 through the KES Member Community Portal which can be accessed ..here..
When logging in to the Portal for the first time you will be given the opportunity to enter details about yourself.
Then, you can select "IDT-09 Early Student Registration" or "IDT-09 Early Full Registration" and follow the instructions.
Payment by Credit Card
The registration system includes an online credit card processing system to take payment while you wait. We recommend that delegates pay by credit card.We will send you confirmation by email when we have received and checked your payment, and your registration is complete.
Payment by Bank Transfer
Please read the following instructions if you intend to make payment by bank transfer.- If you are concerned about securing a student registration place we recommend that you pay by credit card. Payment by bank transfer can take some time and we must *receive* payment before we can give you a student place.
- If you wish to make a payment by bank transfer, register through the online system, an select the "Bill Me" payment option. The email you receive from the registration system will contain an Order Number and instructions about making payment to our bank.
- You must ensure that the ORDER NUMBER appears in the PAYMENT REFERENCE field of the bank transfer form. Please also ensure that the FROM field contains the DELEGATE NAME.
- If the bank transfer payment we receive does not include your Order Number and Name YOU WILL NOT BE REGISTERED!
- Please ensure that you pay any charges you bank may charge. If we do not receive the full amount due before the early registration deadline the full late rate may become payable.
- We will send you confirmation by email when we have received your payment and your registration is complete.

Full Registration
Register for IDT-09 to get attendance at the symposium and a year's subscription to the IDT Journal included!!
Registration includes attendance at the event, a paper in the proceedings published by Springer, the journal subscription, and in addition, a year's KES Silver membership that brings discounted rates at future KES events and your own profile page on the KES Member Community Portal. This represents a great package!
Full registration is an inclusive rate comprising:-
- Attendance at the conference for all days of the symposium
- Morning and afternoon tea and coffee each day
- Lunch each day
- One ticket for the conference banquet
- Publication of one paper in the conference proceedings (conforming to the published conditions concerning submission, length and deadlines)
- A copy of the conference proceedings on CD
- A year's subscription to the IDT Journal
- Silver Membership of KES International for one year from the date of the symposium

Student Registration
Student registration is available to those providing a letter on headed note-paper from their University signed by their Head of Department/School confirming that they are a student on a programme of research.

Student registration is limited to the first 15 registrants. After these place are taken students must register at the Full rate.
Student registration comprises:-
- Attendance at the conference for all days of the symposium

- Lunch each day
- Publication of one paper in the conference proceedings (conforming to the published conditions concerning submission, length and deadlines)
- A copy of the conference proceedings on CD
- A year's subscription to the IDT Journal

Accompanying Person Registration
An "Accompanying Person" is someone who accompanies a full delegate but takes no part in the conference. An example is the wife or husband of an author. The following conditions apply:-
- An accompanying person must register with a Full or Student delegate (ie they may not attend the symposium alone).
- The Accompanying Person registration provides morning and afternoon teas/coffees, and lunch each day.
- It does not allow entry to any conference sessions or talks, or a published paper, or a set of proceedings.
Extra Charges
There will be additional charges for the following items:-
- A copy of the printed proceedings: 100 Euros
- Papers longer than 10 pages: 60 Euro per page
- Ticket for the conference banquet (included in Full Registration): 75 Euro
- Publication of more than one paper in the proceedings: 150 Euros for each additional paper
